Beyond Good and Evil 2 gameplay revealed
The sequel to the beloved Beyond Good and Evil has been over 15 years in the making – but
if new gameplay footage is anything to go by, it’s going to be worth the wait. Playing as a space pirate –
human or animal hybrid – you’re free to explore a vast galaxy in your ship, jetpacking around far-fl ung locales.
A pirate’s life Your character’s fully
customisable, as is your vessel, and as you progress you’ll unlock powerful bonuses and abilities. You can even
level up your crew, forming a die-hard team of intergalactic cut-throats and looters. It all looks gorgeous in
motion, with fl uid animations and jaw-dropping environments. Somehow the wait just got even harder.

Craft, create, or kill everything in Hytale
Are you a Minecraft fan? Of course you are – and so are the developers of new crafting sandbox Hytale. Their debut game is a new take on the winning formula, adding a layer of role-playing and adventure to the core block- stacking experience. “We see Hytale as advancing several
diff erent aspects of the blockgame genre,” explains project lead Aaron Donaghey. “Our Adventure mode provides a directed narrative and hand-designed encounters. We’re giving players the ability to fully customise their character, and even providing a hugely powerful set of tools that lets them build new game assets from scratch.”
