Dark Souls may be a classic, but it never let you grappling hook onto rooftops, resurrect yourself mid-fi ght, or set a samurai on fi re with your robot arm. Luckily, the developers’ latest game lets you do all that and more. You play a 16th century
shinobi, Sekiro, and unlike FromSoftware’s past games, he’s a predefi ned character with his own identity and backstory that plays into the story. He’s even fully voiced, though the developers have
promised he chooses his words carefully – so he won’t be boring you with monologues.
Skill switch Levelling up is diff erent too –
experience points are separate from currency, and allow you to unlock abilities from a selection of skill trees. One, for example, focuses on agility, while another improves your sword-fi ghting. Ready to fi nd your perfect build? You don’t have long to wait – the game launches on PS4, XO, and PC on 22 March.

We’ve fi nally got a release date for Switch exclusive Yoshi’s Crafted World. On 29 March, you’ll be able to dive into its handmade world of fuzzy dinos for the year’s most adorable platforming adventure. As in previous games, such as Yoshi’s Island
and Yoshi’s Woolly World, you’ll be exploring gorgeous levels, tackling puzzles and jumping challenges, and fi ring eggs at anyone who gets in your way. The ability to ‘fl ip’ the 2D levels around to see the other side adds an intriguing new twist to the formula.
